Jazz Australis is the cool new breed of Australian Jazz. With a sound rich in texture yet unobtrusive, this versatile ensemble is just as at home playing a corporate function as they are a private residence.
The band is made up of experienced players who began their musical adventure at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music. As Brisbane’s leading jazz band this ensemble presents the pure class of jazz.
They have sound that is both unique and stylish, having performed over 1,000 gigs together nationwide. The band incorporates classic jazz, blues, Latin and funk to their setlist.
