OUR STORY

At Kedron-Wavell, our story is one of community, connection, and care. Since we first opened our doors in 1970, we’ve proudly served individuals and families across Brisbane’s northside creating spaces where people come together to belong.

While some might still know us as the Kedron-Wavell Services Club, we’ve evolved over the years, growing with our community while staying true to our roots. Our history is deeply connected to the veteran community, and we remain a welcoming space for ex-servicemen and women to connect, reflect, and access support.

Today, we’re proud to share our home with the Kedron-Wavell Sub Branch Inc., the largest RSL Sub Branch in Southeast Queensland.

As a profit-for-purpose organisation, giving back is at the heart of everything we do. Since 2015, we’ve contributed over $12 million to local not-for-profits, community groups, and initiatives that help people in our community thrive. It’s one of the ways we live our values and honour the legacy of service that shaped us.

With three vibrant venues being Kedron-Wavell in Chermside, and The Sands Social and The Sands Bowlo in Sandgate, we’re proud to offer spaces where our community can celebrate, connect, relax and give back. From family dinners and weddings to live entertainment and grassroots events, we’re here for life’s moments, big and small.
