We can assist with every detail from décor to wedding etiquette, & everything in between. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

Can we provide our own catering?

No, sorry, all catering must be provided by the venue. Kedron-Wavell boasts HACCP Accreditation; an internationally recognised method of identifying and managing risk when it comes to food safety. If you cannot find a menu to suit in our packages, we are more than happy to tailor-make a menu just for you!

 

 

Can I bring my own birthday cake?

Of course! We are happy to cut this up for you at no extra charge, or we can serve it as your dessert for a small cakeage fee.

 

 

What time do you serve my catering?

This is determined by you, to suit your event’s needs. We organise all of these details with you prior to your event.

 

 

Can I have a dress up party?

Of course! Your guests can enter in costume, but they will need to meet our standard dress regulations if they are visiting other areas of the venue during or after your event.

 

 

Do you cater for special dietary needs?

Due to the increasing demand for special dietary requirements though, we are able to accommodate the following requirements, to a maximum of 10% of total function attendance numbers; gluten free and coeliac, dairy free, FODMAP, vegetarian, vegan, nut allergies, seafood allergies.

Requirements beyond 10%, or beyond those listed, including special meals required on religious grounds that have not been allowed for by the event organiser, can be arranged at an additional charge; please discuss with the Events team. Further to this, additional special dietary meals requested on the day will be catered to where possible, and this will incur additional charges.

 

What is my deposit?

Unless stated otherwise, your deposit will be equal to your room hire fee.

 

 

Do you have a charity rate?

Kedron-Wavell donates in excess of $880,000 each year, to charitable, sporting and community groups.

Due to the large number of requests we receive, we have an application process for subsidies and/or assistance. Please speak with our events team
