Kedron-Wavell Gives Back $250,000 in Community Grants

Kedron-Wavell has proudly awarded $250,000 in funding to 50 local organisations as part of its 2026 Community Grants Program – the largest in the club’s history.

Every year, Kedron-Wavell backs Northside locals through the Community Grants Program.

Through a simple application process, local community groups and organisations have an opportunity to present themselves & seek financial assistance.

The grants, valued at up to $10,000 each, support projects & initiatives in a wide range of areas including animal welfare, arts and culture, education, disability support, First Nations programs, multicultural initiatives, LGBTQIA+ services, veterans’ programs, environmental projects, health and wellbeing, sports, housing, community development and children’s programs.

“Supporting the local community is at the heart of what we do at Kedron-Wavell. We’re proud to provide funding to organisations that are creating opportunities, bringing people together & making a meaningful difference in the lives of others,” Kedron-Wavell General Manager, Vjorn Bradow, said.

“Behind every organisation we support are passionate volunteers and families & community members who give their time, energy and care to help others. Each of these organisations plays an important role in making our community a better place & we’re proud to stand behind the people who make that work possible.”

Kedron-Wavell Community Grants show the club’s commitment to giving back and strengthening the connections that make Brisbane’s northside a thriving, inclusive community.

The next round of Community Grants will open in May 2027. Check our website for updates.
